1) It Ends With Us (9 August)

Based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel, this movie stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, the movie follows Lily who overcomes a traumatic childhood after overcoming a difficult upbringing. Lily connects with a neurosurgeon she meets by coincidence, but she soon starts to see aspects about him that make her think of her parents’ relationship.

2) Alien: Romulus (16 August)

“Alien: Romulus” is the seventh installment of the “Alien” series, it stars Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced, and it’s going to be directed by Fede Alvare, the movie takes place between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), and it centers on a group of young space colonizers who encounter the most horrific life form in space while looting a derelict space station.

3) The Crow (23 August)

“The Crow” is a reboot of the film series of the same name, which is adapted from the comic book series by James O’Barr, and it stars Bill Skarsgård as the titular character, who is a murdered musician who is resurrected to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiancée. 

4) Trap (2 August)

“Trap” is the new M. Night Shyamalan movie, and it stars Josh Hartnett as a serial killer dubbed “The Butcher”, who goes to a concert with his teenage daughter, only to realize that this concert is a trap set by the police to catch him. 

5) Borderlands (9 August)

Directed by Eli Roth, “Borderlands” is adapted from the beloved video game series of the same name, and it follows a ragtag team on a mission to save a missing girl who holds the key to unimaginable power.
