Rachael Ray’s daytime talk show has concluded after 17 seasons. Her final episodes featured heartfelt farewells from celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Donnie Wahlberg, and Michelle Obama. Fans are still curious about why The Rachael Ray Show ended and what lies ahead for the beloved cook and television personality.

In a statement, Rachael explained her decision: “In my more than 20-plus years in television, I have had 17 wonderful seasons working in daytime television with Rachael. However, I’ve made the decision that it is time for me to move on to the next exciting chapter in my broadcast career.”

Rachael’s choice to conclude her show coincided with the launch of her new production company, Free Food Studios. She expressed, “My passions have evolved from the talk show format production and syndication model to a platform unencumbered by the traditional rules of distribution. That is why I am looking forward to putting all my energies into my recently announced production arm, Free Food Studios.”

Free Food Studios has Instagram and Facebook pages, but they have been relatively quiet so far. As we anticipate more details about this new venture, we are confident that Rachael is staying busy. She continues to manage her Nutrish pet food line, cookware collection, meal kits with Home Chef, and even furniture collections. Nonetheless, we hope to see her back on our TV screens soon.
